NEW ENGLAND wins Brümmerhof Youngster-Cup (LR) at Hanover gate-to-wire in brilliant style.
After finishing second in his lifetime debut at the same venue four weeks ago, NEW ENGLAND presented himself significantly improved at Hanover today and recorded his first career win with a brilliant performance in the €25,000 Brümmerhof Youngster-Cup - and secured the coveted Black Type tag in the process.
Prepared by Cologne-based trainer Peter Schiergen for Liberty Racing 2023 Kings, the Brametot colt was sent to the lead by jockey Bauyrzhan Murzabayev from the start in the 2,000 metres Listed contest and never relinquished it until the finish. On soft going, NEW ENGLAND fended off all late attacks and prevailed with a strong final run over his rivals by three-quarters of a length. The colt will now enter the winter break as a Listed winner with a GAG of 92 / RPR 102.
