First Japan, then Stallion: Fantastic Moon to cover at Ebbesloh Stud from 2025

The decision has been made: Germany's best racehorse and Liberty Racing's first Derby winner Fantastic Moon will remain in the country and will kick off his stallion career at the traditional Ebbesloh stud farm from 2025. After intensive consideration, the shareholders of Liberty Racing 2021 have decided against offers from abroad in order to establish Fantastic Moon as a sire in this country. Ebbesloh Stud is a strong location and partner that offers the best conditions for the colt's second career.

Breeders can look forward to comprehensive support: Liberty Racing is currently working on additional initiatives to optimally accompany Fantastic Moon in his new role and make access particularly interesting for breeders. Details will follow in the coming days. Fantastic Moon's pedigree contains Sire Power galore (Monsun, Lomitas, Samum, Sea The Moon, Sea The Stars, Montjeu) and gives German thoroughbred breeding access to the genes that have characterised the horse during his exceptional racing career: Precociousness, toughness, fighting spirit and soundness.

But before he takes on his new role, another adventure awaits Fantastic Moon: the Sea The Moon son will travel to Tokyo to compete in the Gr.1 Japan Cup on November 24 against top-class international rivals.
