Six great yearlings for Liberty Racing 2024 Gold and Platin

One day after the BBAG auction, co-founder Nadine Siepmann is very satisfied with the result.

"We acquired six colts for our syndicates yesterday. We are very satisfied, as we got a total of six of our eight favorites," says Siepmann.

One of the favorites that the team around Nadine Siepmann and Liberty Racing founder Lars-Wilhelm Baumgarten had their keen eyes on was Lot 65, purchased  for €200,000. The colt by Gleneagles is a brother of the Champion2yo Dhaba, bred by Park Wiedingen Stud. Gleneagles is responsible for Liberty Racing's Derby winner Palladium this year.

There is also an already successful connection to Lot 107, a Teofilo colt offered by Stauffenberg Bloodstock, breeders of Fantastic Moon, Liberty Racing's 2023 Derby winner.

A Kendargent colt (lot 53) from the highly successful Wild Coco family, which also includes Palladium, an Oasis Dream son (lot 98) from the same family, a Study of Man colt (lot 111) from the interesting family of champion horses Key Change and Cubanita, as well as a colt by freshman sire In Swoop (lot 153) complete the group of hopefuls for this year's syndicates.

Three of the six yearlings will be allocated to each of the syndicates Liberty Racing 2024 Gold and Liberty Racing 2024 Platinum respectively; both syndicates have reached the maximum number of 32 shareholders each.

A colt with stayer and Derby potential is still being sought for Liberty Racing 2024 Platin, for which the upcoming auctions will be considered.

Founder Lars-Wilhelm Baumgarten was pleased to report that more than thirty Liberty Racing members had experienced the auction day intensively and seemed visibly happy in the evening. After a "hot day for people and animals", according to Nadine Siepmann, a cheerful mood prevailed, carried by great anticipation for the future of the potential stars of tomorrow.

In the meantime, all the horses have arrived safely at Ohlerweiherhof Stud, where the new Liberty stars will soon be carefully prepared for their active racing careers by Nastasja Volz-Degel and Timo Degel and their team.
