Two-year-old Zauberkönig earns Black Type in second career start

Two-year-old son of Teofilo finishes third in the Großer Preis der Sparkasse Listed for Liberty Racing 2023 Kings
Following his second place on debut, two-year-old Zauberkönig travelled to Hanover today where the Peter Schiergen-trained colt entered the gates for the 1,600 metres Listed-level Großer Preis der Sparkasse. A stayer by nature of his pedigree, the Teofilo colt broke well under Sibylle Vogt, traveled mid-pack for most of the race and fought well in the final straight to finish third, earning Black Type on only the second start of his career.
