Stallion Fantastic Moon - The second career begins!

Derby winner officially begins the next stage of his life and starts breeding at Ebbesloh Stud.

As is well known, Liberty Racing's 2023 Derby winner Fantastic Moon ended his active career with this season and will take up stud duties in 2025.

After his appearance in the Gr.1 Japan Cup, the colt was trained by trainer Sarah Steinberg in order to move to his new home before the turn of the year. On December 20, the Sea The Moon son left his training quarters in Munich to present himself to a group of interested breeders at his new home the next day.

Ebbesloh Stud had organized a great event, which was competently commented on by Marvin Schridde and generated a lot of enthusiasm. The six-time group winner presented himself in his usual professional manner and left a lasting impression on all those present. He can now acclimatize to his new surroundings and prepare for his new job starting next year.

We are celebrating Fantastic Moon's future as the first stallion with Sea The Stars blood in Germany with a beautiful image film that allows horse racing fans to relive the stallion's greatest successes for Liberty Racing in 2021.

At the turn of the year, there was also a great campaign for a charitable cause: Hufbeschläge Rameder auctioned off one of the crack's shoes for the benefit of children's cancer charity. The Derby winner's horseshoe raised 3,350 euros for Kinderkrebshilfe e.V. and in future the shoe, beautifully presented by Sarah Steinberg's stable farrier, will be owned by none other than his breeder: Graf von Stauffenberg.

Fanta's racing career thus ends as he himself is: very moving and very special!
