Successful season opener for Liberty Racing in Cologne with a strong victory for AQUAMAN.
Liberty Racing's successful start to the 2025 turf season was ensured today at Cologne racecourse by the Henk Grewe-trained AQUAMAN. The three-year-old colt, who races for the Liberty Racing 2023 Australia syndicate, made his career debut over 1850 metres under Leon Wolff and impressed across the board. AQUAMAN presented himself like a pro in his first racecourse appearance and prevailed against a field peppered with Derby hopefuls with a great speed performance by a length and a quarter. The son of Cracksman was bred by Karlshof Stud and was purchased at the BBAG Yearling Auction for €100,000.
